When faced with the question of "Which school?" the answer for some is, "None of the above." Home schooling is a growing phenomenon, and Admiral can be the key to making this a successful experience both for the students and their parents. There is no question that home schooling can be the most effective form of education for many students. Students who are home-schooled perform consistently better on both standardized and AP tests than their in-school counterparts, to say nothing of the free time they gain from concentrated studies rather than all-day schooling. Since our academic tutoring is primarily one-on-one, Admiral can step easily into home-school environments, with capable and experienced instructors who have be en selected not only for academic expertise, but also for the ability to connect directly with the students. The Admiral method has always been congruent with home-schooling; we come to the student's house and work with them individually, in their own environment. We have tutors available in all subjects, including literature, sciences, math, the AP's, honors, SAT prep, and foreign languages [even Chinese]. We also offer college advising specifically tailored to each student with a Certified College Counselor, working as a team with the test-prep instructor, with whom the student already has a relationship. |
