Founded in 1996, with its principal office in Los Angeles and a branch in Sun Valley, Idaho, Admiral Tutoring is a pioneering tutoring agency in individualized educational services.

 Admiral Tutoring offers one-on-one educational support in every facet of secondary-school education. Admiral is dedicated to helping the students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in school and beyond. Our qualified tutors are all college graduates [never undergraduates!], many with advanced degrees.

 What Admiral offers:

• Academic tutoring. All subjects, at home. Math, foreign languages, all sciences. AP's and honors. Admiral tutors come to our students at home, the most supportive [and convenient! ] environment.

• Study skills. We help students to catch up and stay on top of day-to-day schoolwork. Complete organization with schedules and monitored homework support.

• Standardized Test Prep, SAT I & IIs, ACT, PSAT, ISEE. We carefully assess our students' needs, and tailor preparation to each student, using Admiral's own materials.

• Home School Support. We provide both primary and specialized instructors for the home-schooled student. Admiral can co-ordinate the student's overall program, and oversee all aspects to make sure that the student is

• Specialty courses:
  • Intensive SAT math review , based on an in-depth analysis of the skills and information needed for the new SAT.
  • Writing workshops . Essay writing practice and vocabulary building, aimed at lifelong skills , SAT essay and college applications. Essays assigned, corrected and rewritten, with attention to both form [grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, word use] and content [clarity, organization, flow]. We teach the basic writing skills so often missing from school curriculum.
  • College counseling. Admiral works closely with certified college counselors, to put together and support an effective program for each of our students.
